Elevated Maternity...

What I'm wearing...dress: Liz Lange Maternity, platform pumps: Steve Madden (similar), black clutch: Steve Madden (similar), necklace: Burlington Coat Factory (similar), watch: Michele

Simple comfortable maternity dresses like this are great for every day casual wear when paired with a great pair of flats, scarf, and satchel bag. However, it's also very easy to elevate this simple dress and take it from day to night. I added three of my favorite pieces; classic black pumps, a great black clutch, and a bold statement necklace! With the addition of these three classic pieces, this simple maternity dress is ready for a night on the town! TGIF everyone! I hope you have a great weekend!

Chambray Maternity...

What I'm wearing...chambray maternity top: Liz Lange Maternity, boots: Charlotte Russe (similar), bag: Kohl's, necklace: Nordstrom (similar), watch: Michele, earrings: Kohl's

I'm loving this new chambray top by Liz Lange Maternity! The fit and length are great and it pairs well with one of my favorite maternity staples, leggings! At almost 36 weeks pregnant, I have definitely been preferring anything that's more loose around the belly. Flat riding boots, pearls,  and a great bag finish off the outfit for a classy yet casual look.

Belly Bumps & Blue Hues...

What I'm wearing...maternity tee: Liz Lange Maternity (similar), distressed denim: Mossimo (similar), bag: Jessica Simpson, heels: DSW (similar), necklace: Nordstrom

I'm just keeping it simple today with the classic uniform of a simple tee and jeans. It's one of the easiest and most comfortable looks to put together and it works every time!

Animal Business...

What I'm wearing...blouse: Apt. 9 (Kohl's), leopard pencil skirt: Forever 21 (similar), bag: Apt. 9 (Kohl's), heels: Sam & Libby (similar), necklace: Target (similar)

This is a great example of how to make leopard print work appropriate! There's something about the combination of leopard and burgundy or red, they just seem to belong together. Just a reminder for all you expecting moms out there, don't put away all your elastic waist pencil skirts! Place the elastic waist either above or just below your bump and make the most of your regular wardrobe during pregnancy.

Mule Heels...

What I'm wearing...top: Mossimo (Target), leggings: H&M, mule heels: Kristen Cavallari only available in black), leopard clutch: Rafe New York (similar), watch: Michele

I know it's been a while since I've published a new post and I wanted to apologize for being so MIA lately. The third trimester really hit me a lot harder than it did the first time around with my daughter. My guess is because this time I have an almost four year old to run around after all day long and gone are the days of the restful first pregnancy!  My goal is to get it back into gear and step it up for the last few weeks before this little boy arrives!

On a fashion note, how amazing are these leopard print mule heels by Kristen Cavallari?! Mule heels are everywhere for fall and I've been searching far and wide for just the right pair! My search came to an end when I came across these leopard beauties! The mule heel is a classic shape that's both comfortable and easy to slip on, and will never go out of style!

Black & Tan...

What I'm wearing...jeggings: H&M, blazer: Target, tee: Old Navy Maternity (similar), scarf: Nordstrom, heels: Sam Edelman (similar), bag: Lotus Boutique, watch: c/o Charlotte Russe (similar)

Yet another new blazer to add to my collection! I just love the camel color on this blazer from Target. This color goes with just about everything, and this is a really well made garment for the price. Blazers are one of my favorite go to layering pieces for fall and they are always worth the investment because they'll never go out of style! So go ahead, buy one in every color, you have my permission!

Faux Fur for Fall...

What I'm wearing...denim: Elle (Kohl's) (similar), white tee: Liz Lange Maternity (similar), white button down: H&M (similar), faux fur vest: H&M, boots: c/o Charlotte Russe (similar), bag: Coach, watch: Anne Klein (similar)

I can't tell you how happy I am that faux fur is still in this season! It's such a fun and easy way to add a pop of texture and interest to any outfit! A vest like this makes for a perfect layering piece over tops and dresses and it adds an extra layer of warmth on these chilly fall nights. If a vest like this is too much for you, then try a coat with just a faux fur trim or collar!

Pattern Perfect...

What I'm wearing...maternity dress: Asos (similar), heels: DSW (similar), lucite clutch: Charming Charlie, necklace: Charlotte Russe (similar), watch: Anne Klein (similar)

How great is the pattern on this maternity dress from Asos?! Asos has one of the most extensive and stylish maternity lines available, and they offer everything from casual basics   to dressy specialty pieces. I wore this dress to one of my best friend's weddings a few weeks ago and got so many compliments on it! Today I styled this dress with pops of neon yellow for contrast. Remember, maternity clothes don't have to be boring!

High Heels, High Hopes...

What I'm wearing...moto jeggings: Mossimo, graphic tank: Target, faux leather jacket: Mossimo (similar), heels: Sam & Libby (similar), bag: Michael Kors

I've really been drawn to fun graphic tops lately, I just can't get enough! Not only are they great layering pieces for fall, but they also make for great conversation starters. Whenever I'm putting an outfit together I try to include one piece that's slightly unexpected, and a graphic top is so much more interesting than a plain tee! This tank really spoke to me and I just couldn't resist. I never really feel dressed without a great pair of heels on! So whether it's a bright pop of color, an interesting texture, or a fun pattern, I always try to think outside the box!
