I'm loving these new over the knee boots from Charlotte Russe! They are super comfortable while still giving me a little lift. An oversized faux fur vest like this is perfect to layer over a long sleeve top like I did here, or you can even layer it over a light jacket for some added warmth.

This was my last and final maternity look that I never got a chance to post before our little guy decided to make his early debut! This was taken just three days before I gave birth! It feels fitting to be wrapping up my maternity looks with this amazing faux fur trim wrap from Nordstrom. Wraps and capes like this are the perfect cold weather alternative for expecting mothers. They often come in one size fits all and there is always enough material to keep that baby bump nice and warm while still feeling stylish! I can't tell you how happy I am that faux fur is still in this season! It's such a fun and easy way to add a pop of texture and interest to any outfit! A vest like this makes for a perfect layering piece over tops and dresses and it adds an extra layer of warmth on these chilly fall nights. If a vest like this is too much for you, then try a coat with just a faux fur trim or collar!

I've been seeing this style of combat boots everywhere lately, and thanks to Charlotte Russe, I'm finally giving this trend a try! What do you think? I'm loving the floral pattern on the inside of these boots! I styled them with lots of cozy layered patterns. One thing's for sure, these boots were made for walking because they are so comfortable!! We're getting our first real snow fall in CT today!! It's funny how the first snow fall is always so exciting because it gets us all in the holiday spirit! Then, for some reason, after the holidays, the snow just becomes a hassle! On a day like today, all I want to do is stay in with a mug of hot chocolate sitting by the fire, but if you must go out, dress appropriately! What better to keep you warm on a day like today than faux leather and faux fur! Wear them both like I did today and stay warm and chic all at the same time! Stay warm and safe everyone!
