Blue and red is another one of my favorite color combinations. I've always had this weird theory that any two solid colors can work together, within reason of course. I've found that the three primary colors (red, blue and yellow) always play nice together. It can be easy and safe to stick to a single color palette when trying to put a look together, but it can be just as easy to mix it up! Just pick your two favorite colors and make sure to keep the look balanced by using the colors in equal parts. What's your favorite color combination?

I scored this amazing wrap dress at Marshall's years ago and it's become a staple in my wardrobe! I've worn it to showers, weddings, and even on vacation! The best thing about it is that you can wrap the dress in an endless amount of styles so that the dress looks different each time! Clearly I'll have to do another post sometime in the near future showing you all the different ways you can wrap it! I just love a versatile piece like this! Having one piece that can be worn so many different ways and to so many different events is one way to really get the biggest bang for your buck! Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

Royal blue seems to be a big color this season and I can't get enough of it! I'm in love with these new suede lace up royal blue pumps from DSW! I've been looking for a pair like this for some time now and I was so excited when I found these at such a great price. I love this color for fall and winter because it's bright, but not too summery. Now I'm on the hunt for one more royal blue statement piece...a handbag! I'll keep you posted! Happy hump day!
