The weather is getting warmer and the layers are finally starting to come off! I'm really loving this new off the shoulder top from Kohl's! I love the gingham pattern and the sweet little bows on the sleeves. My daughter has this week off from school and the weather is supposed to be so beautiful! Spring is definitely in full swing!

It's hard to believe that this little hobby of mine is now 4 years old! After 543 blog posts, over 200,000 pageviews and thousands of photos taken (most of which ended up on the cutting room floor), I'm happy to say that I still truly love what I do! One trend I've been seeing everywhere this spring is statement sleeves! The bigger the volume the better, and these detailed bell sleeves on this off the shoulder top definitely don't disappoint! This is another top that I puchased from shein.com and I'm really pleased with the great quality at such a low price. Also, I would like to point out that this is my first open toed shoe of the season and I couldnt be more happy about it!!

Off the shoulder tops and dresses are really on trend for spring. An up-do, like this top knot bun, can be another great way to really show off your shoulders and collar bone! I've got some really exciting things coming up this week so stay tuned!

I think it's safe to say the off-the-shoulder trend isn't going away anytime soon. Many spring lines are already out in stores and this neckline is everywhere, along with the cold shoulder version of the trend. I was super excited when I scored this French Connection sweater at my local Marshall's! It's a great way to show off some skin without being too sexy!

Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day? If you ask me, that's one fashion rule that no longer applies! Given that it's early September and still a warm 90 degrees here in CT, white is definitely still appropriate. White can be worn well into the fall and winter as long as it's paired with lots of textures and chunky knits. Also, in case you haven't noticed, my obsession with off-the-shoulder tops lives on!

Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend with family and friends! This weekend marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school year, which means this mama will have more time to get back to blogging. I know I've been a little MIA these past few months, but that's only because we've been busy showing these kiddos the most fun summer ever! Now that things will be quieter around the house, I can finally get back to fashion! Feels good to be back!

So if my obsession last summer was open back maxi dresses, then it's safe to say that this summer's obsession is definitely off-the-shoulder tops!
