Sometimes all you need to make a simple outfit stand out is just a little pop of color. In this case, a pop of neon yellow does the trick! If you want to take a plain black and white outfit up a notch, just simply add a brightly colored shoe! The same effect can be achieved with a brightly colored bag or necklace as well!

My blog turns 2 years old today! I can't believe it's been two years since my very first blog post. This blog started as a fun hobby for a stir crazy stay at home mom, but over the past two years it has turned into so much more. The outpouring of love and support from all of my followers and getting to know so many other bloggers along the way has really been so amazing and special to me! Starting this blog really forced me to explore my passion for fashion and to try new things. Looking back, it's easy to see just how far I've come. Thank you all for following along and sharing in this experience with me! So as my sense of style continues to evolve, I hope you all will come along for the ride!

Neon Pops...

This is another example of how bright pops of color can really wake up a basic look. These neon yellow heels and necklace really breathe new life into this simple maternity dress. Most maternity fashion comes in basic colors and patterns so it's really all about adding interest through your accessories! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I just love the bright neon color of this crop sweater! Color schemes can get really dull during the winter and it's so easy to stick with blacks and browns. I love how a bright pop of color can really wake things up! I also love how this black bubble necklace plays off the polka dots in the skirt! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

It seems the 90's crop top trend has been coming back in a big way this past year, and it looks like it's here to stay for 2014! If you've been wanting to try the crop sweater trend but you're afraid to show a little skin, then try styling one this way! Pair your crop sweater with a brightly colored silky button down shirt underneath for a more modest look. This is a great way to ease your way into this trend! Then, maybe someday down the road, you might just be bold enough to wear that crop sweater solo!

Short Stripes...

We leave today for our vacation! My husband and I are taking our daughter to Disney World for the first time for a few days, then it's off to our favorite island for a little R&R! I'll be bringing my camera along to capture every moment (and every outfit of course)!
