Spring is here but I think someone forget to tell Mother Nature! It's still really cold around here but I'm just dying to set my bare arms free! It looks like I'll still be layering on a jacket over this look for a little while longer. Warmer weather can't come soon enough!

A fitted button down, with jeans and a pair of tailored loafers, is a great way to go casual but still look polished. I can run errands all day in these shoes! (Yes, I loved them so much that I bought them in silver AND black!)

Let's face it, I'm just happy that I fit back into these amazing faux leather pants before the official end of winter! That's a big win for me! The denim jacket and pops of leopard print add just enough edge to finish off the look. Happy Saturday everyone, have a great weekend!

With the temperatures above freezing all week and the snow starting to melt, it's finally staring to feel like spring is on it's way! What better way to celebrate than with pretty pastels and peplums! I don't know about all of you, but I am more than ready to break out my spring wardrobe! Just a few more weeks until we can finally peel off all the layers and come out of hibernation. Spring can't come soon enough! TGIF everyone!

I'm loving these new distressed jeggings from Target! Pairing them with these studded heels really adds a little edge to the whole overall look. It's finally starting to warm up a little around here, so maybe I can start putting away the heavy coats and bringing out the lighter blazers again! Spring can't come soon enough!

I decided I wanted to give these simple black jeans a new look so I broke out my DIY skills and started distressing! Hint: a serrated knife gives a much more "natural" look than a pair of scissors. I didn't want to go too crazy, just a few rips here and there. I'm pretty pleased with the overall look! Plus my husband gave me two thumbs up, so that's always a win for me! What do you think, would you take a knife to your jeans to change up your look?!

I'm totally crushing on two new pieces from this look! The first are these gorgeous new mule heels from Charlotte Russe. Mule style heels are back in a big way and this faux suede pair is both flattering and affordable! The second is this new pair of Essential Stretch denim from Target. The material feels fantastic and it sucks you in in all the right places, which I always love! Great denim doesn't have to be expensive and I've always found that Target has a wide selection at affordable prices.
