Happy first day of winter! I don't know about you guys but I still have some last minute Christmas shopping to do! Only 4 days left! I usually save all of my wrapping for Christmas Eve, but I'm trying to get a jump on it this year and start early. This is definitely the busiest time of year, and even though I love it, I'm looking forward to the new year when things start to quiet down!

I'm on the shorter side and big cozy sweaters like this tend to overwhelm my frame. This sweater is on the longer side so I tucked it in a little in the front making my legs appear longer, and therefore, making me look taller! This is just a simple styling trick that can change the look of your whole outfit!

I can't tell you enough just how comfortable this long cardigan is! You guys, it feels like I'm wearing a bath robe in public, yet somehow it's socially acceptable. Really, I feel like I'm getting away with something! If you don't have one of these babies in your wardrobe yet, I would seriously think about making it your next addition! It's the perfect layering piece and it instantly elevates any look!

This new sweater dress from Target is so comfortable! I added a belt to cinch it in at the waist and give me a little more shape. I dressed up this look with a little leopard print and my gold clutch, but you can also dress this down with a pair of tights and some flat boots for a more cozy look.

I know, I know...enough with the open back tops already! Sorry guys but I just love this trend so much I couldn't resist! This is the last one, I promise...maybe! Besides, things in CT just got really cold really quick so it's time to start transitioning into those cozy sweaters and coats that I've been storing away! I, for one, am not a huge fan of winter but I am a fan of the total wardrobe change!!

I wore this look out for my birthday dinner, which ok...was about a month ago now! Sorry guys, I'm just now getting around to editing and uploading the pics! I was looking for a simple body con midi and when I walked into Charlotte Russe, that's exactly what I got! You can't beat the price either my friends! I edged up the look a little with my faux leather jacket and black accessories. Happy Monday everyone!!

Olive and black has quickly become my go to color combination for fall! This olive color seems to be popping up everywhere in stores and in magazines and I love how it pairs so well with black. This is one color combination that I've had on repeat lately!
