I'm in love with how lady like I feel in this new lace midi skirt! I just had to pair it with my favorite bow pumps and I dressed it down a little with one of my favorite go to chambray shirts. I'm already thinking about how I'm going to style this skirt next! Maybe with a little tank top and flat sandals for summer!

Crop tops are still on trend and they don't seem to be going away any time soon! If you've been wanting to give this trend a try but don't want to fully commit, just take a shirt you already own and knot it up! A full skirt like this can sometimes be overwhelming, but by knotting up this shirt, it really helps to define the waist.

Winter Blues...

When in doubt, I find that keeping my whole outfit in the same color palette always works. Today I kept everything in the blue family and again, layered a sweater over a button down shirt. It's all about the layers this time of year!

Ok, so I'm pretty sure this top I'm wearing is supposed to be a dress? I'm thinking it would be really cute in the summer with a pair of gladiator sandals, but given that we are in the middle of winter, today I styled it with faux leather leggings and some really cute pumps! I've been looking for a cute pair of blue pumps, and I was really attracted to this pair because of the thicker heel. They are super comfortable and the heel almost makes you feel like you're wearing wedges!

The best way to wear your chambray shirt dress into the winter is to add layers. Here, I layered on a pair of leggings with OTK boots and a cropped sweater. This same basic idea works with pretty much any dress, and it's a great way to expand your winter wardrobe!

Usually when denim and leather are paired together, it's a pair of denim jeans and a leather jacket. Flip that around to a pair of leather pants and a denim shirt and you get a fresh new take on an old classic!

Tailored...

There's nothing more tailored or polished than a crisp button down paired with a blazer. Today I mixed different neutrals with subtle patterns to give the look more dimension. Blazers are the perfect layering pieces for fall and the quickest way to make any outfit look instantly polished!
