It's hard to believe that this little hobby of mine is now 4 years old! After 543 blog posts, over 200,000 pageviews and thousands of photos taken (most of which ended up on the cutting room floor), I'm happy to say that I still truly love what I do! Thank you to everyone for following along and for all the love and support! This has been the most fun adventure for me and looking forward, I can't wait for what's to come!

Floral Maxi...

I wore this gorgeous floral maxi when I was on vacation and posted it to my Instagram page, but I thought I should give you a closer look here on the blog. The open back and flowy skirt of this dress are so flattering. This is by far my favorite new maxi dress of the season! My obsession with open back dresses and tops continues!

I finally got a chance to check out the Milly collection for Kohl's the other day, and I have to say, I was very impressed! Lets just say that this skirt isn't the only piece I purchased!  All of the patterns were gorgeous and the materials were all of really great quality. I love that there are so many colors in this skirt, which means that there are endless ways to style it! If you haven't checked out this collection yet, it's definitely worth a look!

I've been waiting a very long time to finally put on a pair of open toed shoes! How amazing are these new laser cut wedges courtesy of Charlotte Russe?! Sandal season is officially here and I couldn't be happier! It's still a little too chilly to peel back all the layers just yet, but I'm happy to report that I just packed away all my boots for the season!

An Old Friend...

This is another bright spring blazer that I've had in my wardrobe for probably close to 10 years now! This classically shaped H&M blazer proves that a well made piece of clothing can live a long life in your wardrobe and can really stand the test of time! Don't be afraid to spend a little extra on a classic piece like this. A well made blazer or little black dress will never go out of style and they will end up paying for themselves in the long run! TGIF everyone!

Fun Floral...

I just love the simple floral pattern in this top! I paired it with these green jeans to bring out the green in the pattern. These sky high Charlotte Russe pumps are the best way to make a petite girl like myself look long and lean!

Pattern Remix...

Floral print with stripes? Sure you can!! Pattern mixing is a huge trend this year, and when done right, can be a great way to add interest to any outfit! This trend comes with a few rules though! Try to stick to only two different patterns, any more than that and the outfit becomes too busy. Also, try to keep the two patterns in the same color family so it stays pleasing to the eye. In this look, black and white appears in both the striped skirt and the floral print top. Keep your accessories simple and you're on your way! Now get mixing!
