At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the whole sleeveless sweater thing. I mean, it kind of defeats the whole purpose of wearing a sweater. Then I came across this little number and I really liked the zipper details on the sides, so I decided to give it a try. When I wore it out, I ended up adding a slim fitting leather blazer over top and it ended up working out perfectly!

Ok, so I'm pretty sure this top I'm wearing is supposed to be a dress? I'm thinking it would be really cute in the summer with a pair of gladiator sandals, but given that we are in the middle of winter, today I styled it with faux leather leggings and some really cute pumps! I've been looking for a cute pair of blue pumps, and I was really attracted to this pair because of the thicker heel. They are super comfortable and the heel almost makes you feel like you're wearing wedges!

I'm all layered up on this rainy day. If you don't own a blanket scarf, you should! You can wear it as a scarf, like I did here, as a wrap and even as an actual blanket! Now that's what I call stylish versatility!

After a few crazy busy weeks in a row, it feels really great to get back to blogging! We are having an unusually warm December so far here in CT, so some days have felt more like spring! It's been a good excuse for me to take my camera outside and get some fresh air. There's a lot of holiday parties going on this time of year and a leather pencil skirt like this is a great way to dress up and still look polished. I added a little sparkle with the gold accessories!
