White Out...

An all white outfit can be just as easy to wear as an all black outfit. A look like this is so light and airy and perfect for summer. These new drawstring pants from Target are so easy and more comfortable than pajamas! I paired this all white look with tan and gold accessories to add a little dimension.

With the Victoria's Secret swim suit catalog coming out this month and virtually every retailer debuting their new spring lines, it's completely making me yearn for spring! Enough with all of this snow in the Northeast already! With that in mind, I thought I would break out some pastels and have myself a little spring fling! I love the idea of keeping it monochromatic and going with all pink. The variation of shades and pops of leopard print keep this outfit from looking too flat. TGIF everyone!

Ladylike Neutral...

I love this ladylike all over neutral look for the holiday season. A dressed up slim fit pant can be a great alternative to dresses and skirts this time of year, especially when the temperature drops! If you're going to keep it to a monochrome color palette, like I did here, then make sure to mix in different patterns and textures to keep the outfit from looking too flat. A bright lip and a darker bag also add depth to the look. TGIF friends!!

When in Doubt, All Black...

There's something so chic about all black. It says "I look like I tried, without trying". I find that when I have a hard time putting something together, all black just works... every time! To keep an all black outfit like this from looking flat, make sure to work in lots of texture like I did here with the lace in the top and the fun gold studs on these amazing Charlotte Russe booties! A little pop of leopard print never hurt anybody either! What's your favorite "works every time" outfit? TGIF!

I'm keeping it neutral with all gold accents today. I took a page from these amazing gold plated ankle strap platforms from Charlotte Russe! All the gold accents really make the monochrome beige pop!

Minted Monochrome...

Here is another example of monochrome done right! I just can't get enough mint this spring and this outfit gives you a double dose! In this look, the print in the blouse and the turquoise jewelry break up the all over mint color, giving the outfit more visual interest. Happy Thursday!

Memorial Day White Out...

When you're at a loss for what to wear, monochrome is always both easy and fashion forward. Here, I chose to go all white in honor of Memorial Day, but feel free to pick your favorite color and run with it! The only rule when wearing a monochromatic outfit, make sure to add in some pattern or texture to make sure the outfit doesn't fall flat, like I did here with the lace skirt. Also, try putting together different shades of the same color to achieve the same affect! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
