High waisted pants and denim are coming back into style it seems so I thought I would give this trend a try! I have to say, I did think it was very flattering and it really helped to tuck in the tummy! What do you think about this trend? Is it something you're willing to try?

Mother Nature can't seem to make up her mind here in CT lately. Only in New England can it be in the 30's one day and then in the 50's the next! That being said, it's important to have a variety of both heavy and light jackets on hand depending on the day. A lighter trench coat like this is perfect for these warmer days. This type of coat is a great investment to make because this style has been around for decades and shows no sign of going out of style any time soon!

When in doubt, I find that keeping my whole outfit in the same color palette always works. Today I kept everything in the blue family and again, layered a sweater over a button down shirt. It's all about the layers this time of year!
