Maxi dresses are perfect for this time of year. When paired with a blazer or a denim jacket like I did here, then it provides just the right amount of coverage to keep you warm on those chilly spring nights. I love the crocheted texture and the sheer bottom of this maxi from Kohl's! These elements add just the right amount of interest to elevate a plain black maxi. TGIF everyone!

The truth is, most days I'm not wearing heels, I'm wearing flats. Everyday tasks like dropping my daughter off at school or going to the grocery store require comfortable footwear! Now this doesn't mean that athletic sneakers and UGG boots are always acceptable, not in my opinion anyways! A great pair of ballet flats or flat sandals can really elevate your look without sacrificing comfort. They're also a great way to keep you looking polished throughout the day!
