I'm featuring two of my new favorite pieces today! This clear box clutch from Forever 21 is so much fun! I just have to make sure that whatever I put inside of it is just as pretty! I'm also in love with these new heels from Charlotte Russe. They are very "Valentino" but at a fraction of the cost! Mix it up a little and pair something girly, like this cute pink halter top, with something edgy, like this leather skirt and heels. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Summer to Fall Transition...

Sadly, there are only a few weeks of summer left! As the colder nights creep in, I'm really not ready to pack away my summer wardrobe! It's time to start transitioning my favorite summer looks into fall. The best way to get the most use out of your summer favorites is to add a cardigan, like I did here, or some type of light jacket. This would look just as great with a blazer or a jean jacket as well. Lets hold on to summer as long as we can! Have a great weekend!

If you've been wanting to try a little pattern mixing, here's a simple way to get started. Try mixing a subtle floral lace with another small pop of pattern the way I did here with this clutch. The same look can be achieved with a patterned shoe instead. Mixing patterns is the easiest way to add interest and movement to your look! If you're not ready to jump in with an all over pattern, then try it in small doses like this!

I just love the simple floral pattern in this top! I paired it with these green jeans to bring out the green in the pattern. These sky high Charlotte Russe pumps are the best way to make a petite girl like myself look long and lean!
