Happy first day of winter! I don't know about you guys but I still have some last minute Christmas shopping to do! Only 4 days left! I usually save all of my wrapping for Christmas Eve, but I'm trying to get a jump on it this year and start early. This is definitely the busiest time of year, and even though I love it, I'm looking forward to the new year when things start to quiet down!

Layering a patterned button down or long sleeve tee under a sweater is a great way to add warmth and a little interest to an otherwise basic look. Even just the smallest pop of color or pattern can really elevate an outfit, making it look more tailored and polished.
I'm on the shorter side and big cozy sweaters like this tend to overwhelm my frame. This sweater is on the longer side so I tucked it in a little in the front making my legs appear longer, and therefore, making me look taller! I can't tell you enough just how comfortable this long cardigan is! You guys, it feels like I'm wearing a bath robe in public, yet somehow it's socially acceptable. Really, I feel like I'm getting away with something! If you don't have one of these babies in your wardrobe yet, I would seriously think about making it your next addition!
