There's nothing more easy breezy on a warm spring day than a flowy maxi dress. Maxi dresses are one of my go to uniforms for spring and summer! They don't require any thought, you just throw on one piece and you're ready to go. Not to mention that dresses like this are even more comfortable than sweat pants!

Yes! My first outdoor photo shoot of the season! After a long cold winter, it's so nice to finally feel the sun on my face again. All the snow has finally melted and it's time to start peeling off the layers and breaking out the sundresses! I paired this dress with a light denim jacket and booties so that it can easily transition into evening, where it's still a little bit cool around here. Changing over my wardrobe means that's it's official!

I'm really loving this new white flowy top! More than anything, I really love a piece that has versatility. This top looks great paired with leggings and heels for a night out like I did here, but I also wore it as a bathing suit cover up while I was away on vacation! The high low hem line and the cut out details in the back, really make this top stand out.

Yep, I wasn't kidding about my new obsession with open back maxi dresses! How sexy is this dress?! I read about this website, makemechic.com, in a magazine and was instantly hooked! They have so many great pieces at really affordable prices. It's definitely worth a look if you're thinking about updating your spring wardrobe!

Ok, so I may have a new obsession...open back maxi dresses! Trust me, this is just the first of many. I've always thought that an open back can be sexier and far more subtle than showing a lot of leg or cleavage. Plus, there is no easier piece for spring and summer than a maxi dress. Just throw one on and you're ready to go, no thought required!

My blog turns 2 years old today! I can't believe it's been two years since my very first blog post. This blog started as a fun hobby for a stir crazy stay at home mom, but over the past two years it has turned into so much more. The outpouring of love and support from all of my followers and getting to know so many other bloggers along the way has really been so amazing and special to me! Starting this blog really forced me to explore my passion for fashion and to try new things. Looking back, it's easy to see just how far I've come.
