Pastel pink for winter? Of course, when it's on a beautiful wool coat like this! This is the type of coat that pairs well with a cocktail dress for evening, or that you can dress down with a pair of distressed denim like I did here. No matter where I wear this coat, I always get multiple compliments on it! A colorful statement coat like this is something every girl should have in their winter wardrobe!
I've been looking for a cute pair of lace up booties for a while now, so I was very excited when I found this pair on sale online at Charlotte Russe. I love where they hit right at the ankle and the chunky heel makes them super comfortable to walk in. In fact, I wore them running errands all day today!

I'm loving these new over the knee boots from Charlotte Russe! They are super comfortable while still giving me a little lift. An oversized faux fur vest like this is perfect to layer over a long sleeve top like I did here, or you can even layer it over a light jacket for some added warmth.

An open back sweater is a great way to stay warm in the winter while still being able to show a little skin! I wore this sweater out last weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a friend's birthday and I got a ton of compliments on it! It was freezing outside but I stayed warm and cozy all night.

Things are finally starting to quiet down after the holidays and it feels so good to get back to blogging! So sorry I've been away for so long! Here we are in the middle of January and it's finally starting to feel like winter here in CT. I love this sweater but it's a little on the lighter side. Layering a patterned button down underneath adds both style and that extra layer of warmth that is so needed this time of year!
